Harrier rolls

How do you do a harrier roll? I can not find any information on this.

Well... a couple of months ago I asked your buddy, Jason. All he told me was that "you're in a snap position with the sticks, so BE CAREFUL!" :D

Harrier Rolls really arent that cool. Kinda a dumb maneuver.

Thanks for that insight Johnny. Keep posting great data.

awat: As to rolling while performing a harrier, I snap the plane and add power at the end of the snap. Unfortunately, it lurches forward slightly on the end of the roll, but I need the power to keep the nose high...to maintain any resemblance of a harrier...I presume you're talking about a low-ish level, slow, fly-by harrier position right?

In case you didn't know

I was designated the 2002 MDP Champ a few days ago. - In case you didn't know thats the "Most Deleted Posts Champion". As for harrier rolls do whatever input you need to keep the nose up - exaggerated slow roll inputs. - What'll help is if you already know how to do super slow rolls in regular flight. Practice that first if you don't. The only reason I put that tidbit of info in is so this post doesn't get deleted - I want everyone to know I'm the MDP champ.

Are you sure? I thought fivesquare had everyone beat by a long shot?

By Default.....

I was selected by default....I think my percentile is above 80% - I doubt that anyone has that beat.

krayzc-RCU 04-17-2002 05:35 AM

yeah

i put my ailerons almost all the way to the left and never move that part of the stick the rest of the time i push and pull on the elevator to keep the plane level, with the left stick i am always moving it left and right to apply the correct rudder that will keep the plane level if i were to just be knife edging; I also work the throttle to give me some prop blast from time to time. its basically like torque roll with the plane on its side it you can tr it will come very quick alone with knowing how to do a rolling circle.
