Would anyone be interested in a product that keeps a constant pressure.. SET by the user.. In the gas tank as well as in a smoke take or any other tank?

I have made a smoke system w/o a pump, just a regulator valve attached to a servo and used a pressure system to do the pumping for me... It also keeps a constant pressure that I adjusted to the gas tank which assures me the same setting on the ground as in any position in the air.

If I could mass produce this system some how, do you think anyone would buy it?

I'm going to try to get someone that has more money then me involved and see about mass prodicing such a thing. the weight is about 5 to 10 oz total including all the extra pipes... it will depend on the scale of the plane.. larger planes will require more weight.. I did this on an Edge 540 60-90 size with a 108 on it and a small home made smoke system. My small version is 4oz total.
the engine seems to always run the same no matter what the condition is because the pressure is always the same.

You are unlikely to get many takers at even 4 oz. until you get to the bigger gas powered planes.

Competing against the Cline and Iron bay regulators, and the perry pumps, they are all about 1 oz.

they all need really good maintenance, if you made it reliable enough and cheap enough im sure peeps will be intersted

sounds a bit like the fuelmaster thingy i have right here in my 1994 mag, made by Ram-air it takes exhaust pressure to regulate fuel supply to the carb, in these tests it worked with the tank 10" away and held nose up, nose down with no change in RPM. trying to find one but can't find anything on it. looks like a simple unit, diaphragm, inlets and outlets for exhaust and fuel. costs £25
looks PERFECT for 3D or for my magnum which never runs the same in the air as it does on the ground. can scan pics if needed

well the one i have serves as a smoke pump as well as a fuel pressure regulator system.. It's dual purpose.. Probably weighs less then i mentioned.. I just tryed to guess, but holding a 3oz weight in one hand now.. I realize my system weighs less than that.. Probably 2.5 to 3oz TOTAL for a .90 size plane that should be light enough I think.

this one just uses exhaust pressure to control fuel flow and a one way valve in the tank. love the idea, just trying to find one.

does this thing of yours regulate the fuel AND do the smoke pump, or just one or other?
just considering having smoke in my 50 size aerobat and as it does 3D a guess a regulator could be good too
