how to do manuvers?
 

I have been flying for 2 1/2 years and i still am not fimilar with manuvers. The only manuvers i really know how to do are the basics loops, rolls , snaps, and some hovering. I just looked at the post with the links to horizion hobby. for the manuvers like the waterfall, harrier and so on. I am sure there are many more manuvers out there but i dont know where to look. I am looking for all manuvers non 3d and 3d. I think i can do a lomvech(spelling :) ) push the sticks in the top left corner or right coners and the plane does a foward tumble.

Nathan, gotta look though your site again now i got a plane that can 3D, but i gotta bring up a point/question..

you have harrier as nose high forward flight....
the term comes from the full size harrier which can't do this, i know the harrier as where the plane descends total flat vertically, what you call an elevator.

now... i might be wrong and smite me down :) but.. parachutes come down but are blown by the wind, therefore the planes coming down flat, but going backwards, elevators are straight down, harriers come from the elevator when they land with slight forward movement, then the whole move is a harrier.

to me your harrier is high alpha flight

anyway, put me and Cartman out of our misery, which is which? i say harrier, he says parachute

Nope, 3DRC is all correct (you can check this with Mike McConville's guides)

I agree it is a bit misleading, but after all they're only names, and being an American term originally, I don't think it comes from the RAF Harrier.

The parachute term is taken from where a full size parachute is deployed, resulting in a sudden loss of airspeed, and a much slower descent.

Elevator: Comes form the US term for a 'lift'... You know how an elevator goes straight down but pretty slowly.

Harrier: God knows where that came from!

Blender: if you have a heavy plane, blend it, and it looks just like youve put some mushrooms n stuff in the blender! Light planes do it too but not as violently, and often require spoilerons.

Wall: Looks like you've hit a wall.

heh heh! no it doesn't, my mates plane hit a 'wall' of a caravan iand it looked nothing like what my flip does :p

aggree with all, but i'm still gonna call my flat decents harriers, just like the real harrier, i can't help it if the yanks want to try and high alpha their AV8-B's and crash :D

Ps... my waterfalls arn't 5' or even 20.. with a 13x4 its in it's own lenght maybe :D
