Please help identify this plane

1 Attachment(s)
My wife bought this plane for me a while back and I have no idea what plane it is. It appears to be either a pattern ship or a 3D plane. It has a one piece rudder and 1 piece wing that is attached to the belly pan. The canopy was severely cracked, but other than that, it appears to be in very good condition. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get from other members. Thank you very much..

I'm not familiar with that model. Do you have any idea of who manufactured it? I found a Harrier model made by Seagull, but that's not what I have.

It's the Seagull one I was thinking about......there were several similar models about the time the U-Can-Do came out back about 7-8 years ago.

I agree, Gizmo.  I've been doing some searching on-line and my plane almost looks like a combination between a Harrier and a U-Can-Do.

The difference between the harrier and the UCD is the fuse length. I have one called the Phoenix Toptar that is the same. But the majority of these aiirplanes are shorter. So, the UCD 60 is 65" whereas the harrier / Topstar are more like 55". It means the UCD can fly pattern but not these other airplanes; the shorter tail moment makes them more profile-like in behaviour

One friend had a very similar plane back a number of years ago, can't remember the name of it and he is long gone now. Looking at yours I see the vert. has no stab, it's all rudder like the friends was.................

It looks like it will be a blast to fly.  Ought to be very responsive.  I told my wife until I can identify it, I may just call it "Fred"!  :D
