*****50cc 3d Plane*****

What are some good options for a 50cc rc plane? I'm looking to spend under 650$ and I don't want a crazy 3d plane... Something for an example a beginner-intermediate flyer in 3d

to many choices matters your flying style and transport space..

you might consider posting " on the other web forum " alot more gaint scale guys over there ..

this is one airframe comes to mind http://www.extremeflightrc.com/html/50ccEdge.html

and when you say under 650 i hope you mean airframe only and that doesn't include shipping other wise .. your list just got narrowed down

there are so many decent ones, most will work just fine, maybe you should ask which to avoid instead.
even a super competive frame can be set up to fly easily for intermediate or entry level.
I'd budget on 2K

maybe you can post some planes that interest you.

Look at the Extreme Flight Edge and maybe some of the Pilot planes. I have never flown either but I have friends who have flown the EF planes and love them.. My DA 50 is on a Great Planes Bipe. I would get the EF but I am focusing on Pattern.

The other 3D plane that caught my interest is the relatively new Aeroworks QB Extra. But it is for a 30cc engine. The wing loading seems very good.

One key to any 3D plane is low wing loading. My Bipe is like 23 oz/sq ft. The higher the wing loading the easier the plane stalls. In 3D you are always pushing the envelop on stalled flight.

Hello
I have both the EF 50CC edge and 3dhs 50CC slick, the slick is much lighter but at the price of being fragile and not forgiving. Ive been flying the EF for over a year now and it flies great and takes a beating. I would recommend the EF Edge any day.

Good Luck

The PAU 50cc Edge 540T is sweet looking and not to expensive, I have been looking at one myself.
