Smoke oil pump. Which one?
 

I have been very successfully using a B&B specialties smoke pump that works off the crankcase pressure along with a DuBro smoke valve. The mentionable down-side is the pump is a little bulky and needs to be mounted close to the engine. My new airplane needs a more compact unit which logically is electric.
All of the ads for smoke pumps sound good, but from reviews and comments, I hear of leaking, quitting, poor performance, etc., which makes me suspicious of any of them.
Is there a pump out there that can be trusted to consistently deliver? If there is, I would like to know which one it is. I am ready to buy one.
