saito 1.80 props?

setting up a h9 edge and a 1.8, looking for a little advice from those who've run this engine on 3d planes on prop size and pitch. I'll probably run 15% fuel, anyone tried 15% and the apc 18x4w?

A 16 X 8 works well on an UltraStick.

I have not heard of an apc 18/4w although it's a good idea ....maybe it's on it's way.
I have tried an apc 18/6w with 15% and its not bad but seems to bog the engine down a bit for my taste...i'm now using and apc 17/6.

If you have the ground clearance.. run the 17x6 for low speed 3D type flying, otherwise the 16x8 is a good one. We run them on 30% heli fuel too.

I second that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The APC 18-6W is the best 3d prop out there! Definatly use 30% heli fuel. I have one on a ultra stick and it hovers the 11 pound plane at less than 1/4 throttle!

I would recommend the APC 17x6 for this engine/plane combination.

30% heli fuel is the cure for heavy prop like 18x6W if you have problem with slow spool-up.
