starting hopefully soon...

i am may be soon starting to fly my 1st low wing. it looks exactly like the one below, just without the graphics. It has abot a 50 something inch wingspan and is about 58+ inches long. It has an O.S. .46 in it. I just wanted to know if it would do some kind of 3D stunts so i could practice with this plane. If it could what would be some things it could do?

While the SIG 4 Star 40 is a great flying plane, I don't think there is enough throw to do 3D. I don't know this for sure but I have a 4 Star 60 and it doesn't have enough throw to do 3D

I can barely hover my 4 star 60...it is stock...
Please...if you are going to have radical throws..don't use the CA hinges!! I've had 5 or so of them tear completely on my plane. |

ok
would it be able to do harriers or any type of hanging on its prop? |

Hovering is pretty much it....it ain't pretty either...It is a fun plane though...and a joy to land.

CA Hinges`
On CA hinges. I used these at the request of a customer. I tried to talk him out of it but he said that a TOC pilot was using them on his plane and he was doing fine with them. Well the story goes like this. The plane went to Toledo for display at one of the booths then after that the plane was test flown. On the first flight the hinges pulled out , not just the hinge but the wood as well. A few days later the TOC pilot also lost his plane for the same reason. I do not use CA hinges on anything of .40 size casual planes if they are going to be hot dogs I use Robart Hinges. It is not worth risking the plane for a few cents in hinges.
