Edge 540
 

This is my first discussion so be easy on me:D, I've been dieing for a wicked tricked out edge 540 to do some extreme aerobatics and was wondering about some ideas... Can anyone help?

First you will need to answer some questions for yourself.
What size plane? Bigger always flies better so a 40% Carden would be a nice choice. There are many other makers that do a good job also.
Engine choice? DA / 3W or brand X,Y or ?? If you are looking for a glow engine in the 120+ size then YS is the king of power. Electrics are another posibility with the Hackers being considered best (and most expensive).
Radio and servos. I have flown JR for the past 5 years and found it to be reliable and easy to program. 8411 servos have been good however the 40% Carden I will build over the winter probably will get the new 8611's.
