Pilots,

I just ordered my U-CAN-DO-3D the other night it should arrive on Friday at our Local Hobby. I have a Saito 91 to use. I haven't decided if I should put the wheel pants on or not. I have a 14x6 APC Prop to use. I am ready to start putting it together can't harldy wait untill Friday.

Questons:

Should I put the wheel pants on?

What prop should I use on a Saito 91 for 3D?

How does it Land and Take-Off and Fly?

Answers:
Use the wheel pants on pavement or very short grass. Otherwise they will be a problem. The plane looks a lot better with them.

Use an APC 15-4W (this is a 15" x 4" pitch Wide blade) and perfect for 3D on this plane / engine combo.

Take off is more of a launch. Very little roll is needed. Any forward motion and it will fly.
Landings can be at less than a slow walking speed. If you time it right and have the right mixes set up you can land and stop in less than 3 feet. If you bounce it be prepared for some repairs as the structure is not made for rough landings. Throttle management is a MUST! Apply a little just before touch down.

Flying is what this plane is all about. It will make you look better than you are (at least in most cases). Flying slow is this plane's purpose. Don't try to fly fast as it will do damage.

Install good servos for best results. I have good ones in mine. I trimmed out one for a fellow pilot a few weeks ago that has digitals. It truly does make a difference. Even more fun.
