here's my ultimate profile w/ scratch built fuselage, saito 72 g.k. hitec servos, expert micro receiver, 650 nimh pack, 4 lbs. just got digicam for xmas, but will get some hover shots to post soon.

Lots of nice planes in here!!
Here's some pics of the one I seem to be flying the most. It's my own design and has a balsa sheeted foam core fuse and wing. 48" span weighs 4lb 3 oz's with an os50......lotsa fun!!! |

Actually :D on the way to the field on the same day of taking pictures the airplane experienced some hanger rash during transport and the very back of the right tip broke even with the TE. We just cut both of them off to be equal. Now that its happened I can finally have an excuse to chop those tips off all the way ;)

Believe it or not, it can indeed hover! Haven't seen it torque roll though.
It's pellet-powered, and releases a lot of "solid exhaust".....especially in the mornings! |
