HP Pilots 3D Throw Meter
1 Attachment(s)
For those of you who read my last post about Roy Seals' 3D throw meter, you'll all be happy to know that I was wrong about this device; it works great. The first one I purchased had a spring that was two weak.
When I reported my problem on RCU Roy contacted me immediately, replaced the meter within a day, and here I am with my new meter reading the throw on my Mini 3D. Roy - thanks for your help and outstanding customer service! Drew |

My question is. Why did you not contact Ray first before RCU. I you had the first post would have been unnessary. Dennis

RE: HP Pilots 3D Throw Meter
Well we all have to be careful when we post a problem. Good reminder for when I have problems. Always try to work it out with the vendor first. Then if he's not cooperative, we all need to be informed of it so we can avoid him in our future purchases. And if you're happy with his service we need to know that too.
I'm glad you're happy with it. It looks pretty cool. I use this triangle I bought from Homey Depot. It works good but it's hard to get the origin (0 deg) parallel with the stab surface. Joe |
