Looking for prop opinions - running a Saito 100 on a UCD 46.

RE: Satio 100 3D Prop
15X4W or 16X4W is what I would use...

RE: Satio 100 3D Prop
I like 14''X8 wide MK glass. But the Master Airscrew glass filled nylon K series is about the same. I use 20% nitro type F OS plug. Cline regulator a must. Works great try it you like it.

RE: Satio 100 3D Prop
Steve, just curious, why do you feel the Cline regulator is needed?
Fuj, if you use the 15 x 4W use 20%. If you go with the 16 x 4W use 30%. Ed M. |
RE: Satio 100 3D Prop
I like the low end idle and the fast response i get when I rev it up. I also can put the fuel tank where I want it. On mine I have it on CG . I have lots of engine runs on it and I have never had to re- adjust the engine at all. I am so pleased with the way it runs I made a trade for a new Saito 100 and it will go on my next 3-d plane I am looking real hard at the Hype or yak OMP profile when I finish my World Fun Air 3-D 140. I picked A extra cline up on RCU for $30 new. And they go on E-Bay for about the same price just have to keep your eye open for the killer deals. SL (PRO BRO #429)

RE: Satio 100 3D Prop
What spinner and adapter combination did you get to fit with a 15x4W prop and 2" spinner?
Thanks, Dan |
