I had thought about buying the combo when it was 399.00 with engine around Christmas. Now the combo is 495.00, forget it.

Maybe they are doing the same thing with planes as they are with the gas prices
high demand = high prices
OR maybe its due to the value of the Euro as compaired to the U.S. dollar?

Thats a big price increase. Try Esprit models.

Esprit and Modelbau USA are the only dealers in the US as far as I know.
