noob..need help...
 

Hey guys, I am new to this forum and it looks quite helpful. ;) I am currently looking to get an airplane. I just want something easy to fly at the park. ( just to have fun ) I had two hobbyzonoe firebird and the commander. They all stuck on the tree and never able to get it back[:@] should I go nitro or eletric? I just saw that 3D airplane with a .15 engine and it loooks so cool to play like that. Please guys, I need suggestions!! Oh and I am not new to R/C. I am new to airplanes..:)

right............id say make somhing cheep like a [link=http://www.spadtothebone.com/]spad[/link] . if youve only flown a firebird, well 3D is somthing completly different. One of theese planes you can chuck about and they are pretty crash/bomb proof;)

yea it was way to early to be up. spad 3d 20 dollars your best bet. i live in the BFE AKA THE SHTICKS. my yard is aout 3000 feet wide and 1200 feet deep. have no problem flying whips 200+mph AND BEST OF ALL I AM THE AMA HERE:D

Hey, here's just a small suggestion: you might could look into a Hitec/Funtec Sky Scooter Pro 2 it can fly stable and do mild aerobatics for $180 more or less. Better yet I found that I could fly mine in 1/2 the space I would fly my Firebird 2. 3D planes really would be a handful! The Sky Scooter is made of foam and you can USUALLY fix it with hot glue, but I only crashed mine bad one time. I recommend removing the pull-down safety switch incase you put it down on a roof or in a tree that way you might could throttle it out of it. It's 3 channel Throttle/Aileron/Elevator handlaunch/belly land (or hand-catch! what fun!) Comes with everything but 8AA batteries. It was about the best experience I had.

If you have never flown airplanes before, don't go 3D, yet :)

Get someone to help you out and learn first the basics, a good trainer, Ready2 if they sell 'em in Canada. Unbreakable. Then maybe if you are really itching to get into 3D go for a Magic, Cougar or something simular.
