What engine is best for my UCD 2T or 4T?
I Like 0s 91 fX, saito 100, os fs 91 and ys 91.
What is better and what prop?

FOUR STROKE


most people put a satio 100 or ys 110 on them . i run satio 150

satio 100 15/4 or 16/4 ys 110 17/6 apc

Prophanger, I was always under the impression that when changing prop pitch that the numbers should always add up. Saito 100 15/6 = 21 Now if I wanted to go less pitch the next in line would be a 16/5 = 21 and so on. A 15/4 to a 16/4 is a big leap don't you think? Joe

I am using the OS 91 FX. I put the perry pump on it and it runs great, just not enough to the really hard 3D stuff. It has plenty to hover and pull out with authority but it suffers on some of the real power moves. I just finished up a UCD 46 with a Saito 91 with perry pump. It should have the needed power for most everything.

i have a ys 91 ac with a apc 16x6 great combo. if you go with 91 fx use the same prop 16x6.. i tryed a apc 16x4w today and dident like it.

Hello.
The truth is that I have never had a motor of four strokes,
although if several of two times. , That maintenance has the motor?
Every whichever time it is necessary to do it.

i don't know but never had a problem with going between the two props my satio 100 turns the 16/4 at 10,700 rich a litlle over 11,000 with the 15/4 . and no thats really not that big of a change .yea on pylon 1/8 is a big change for these engines. thats just the props 99.9% of people run on the 100. but i all i know both is within the specs of it. SORRY IF I MADE ANYONE BLOW UP THEIR SATIO 100

Hmmm...Yes...indeed ...have you read the manufactures instructions ..AND tech notes specifically saying absolutley nothing bigger than a .90 two stroke or .90 four stroke..? or "catastrophic " failure could occur ?...O.K....go on be a devil put a 1.00 in it... a 1.10...

i've had 2 1 with an os four stroke and the other with a magnum 2 stroke both 91's and both with 15/6 the 2 stroke runs alot better even though its a magnum u dont need to over power it it just gets heavier! a i.50 is way to heavy

it must not be to heavy. it weighs less than a friends with a os 91 boat anchor. the only overpowered one is the one with the os 160 fx. now that is power. the satio powers it the way it needs to be. truly unlimited every way. ever were. great planes don't know about power plants. or just can't fly. they should build it to be unlimited with that engine and i will use it. till then i will use what is right for my style. WELL I GUSSE ITS JUST COOL TO HANG AT 5 CLICKS. WELL NOT REALLY CLICKS .USE HELI THROTTLE RATCHET. SMOOTH. WELL IT STILL HAS NOT BLOWN UP YET. AND THE WARNTY IS ABOUT TO RUN OUT[X(]. mine can hover tailslide all the way do the ground and go back up until i cant see it there are 6 of them were i fly all with 91's over powered isn't better its just more nose weight

While I am a Saito fan for 3D power, the 150 is much heavier than the OS 91. 31.4 versus 22.9 oz. If your Saito 150 powered plane is lighter than your friend's OS 91 powered plane, there are some serious other differences.

FYI - Did you know that the Saito 180 is lighter than the 150? The 120 is also a heavy dog (both Saito's and OS's, for that matter). The best power/weight ratio Saito engines are the 72, 91, 100, and 180.

yea the 180 is liter. but it was late and put the 180 in the wrong plane . got to quit assembling 2 at a time. yes mine is liter. his is the old glow plug in front. about 14 years old. i run duralite packs carbon gear canopy. whats the ys 110 and u can do any good. turns about the same as the 150 or 180 pulls like heck on the razzle.

Finally I have put a os 91 fx. The saito 100 is not engaged in to Spain, that was the motor that I like.
