Ugly Pizzaz wing joint?

I'm building my Pizzaz, all looks good, except where the wing goes in the fuse. After gluing it in, there is gaps where the opening is ( I didn't make it bigger) What did some of you fill the gaps with, being the transparent covering, I can't really think of a good way to keep it looking good. Other than maybe epoxy, with balloons, and a little red paint mixed in.

Depending on the size of the gaps:

Big? Maybe some balsa sheeting cut and bent to shape.
Med? You might try the epoxy+balloons idea. Won't you want the filler to be balsa covered like the surrounding sreas?
Small? How about balsa filler? Dries fast, easy to sand.

what about baking soda and thin CA? make sure it is smooth before you hit it with the CA because it sets up hard. Also do be right over it when the CA hits the baking soda. This is a really solid joint.

Thanks for the help, the gap is small, this thing is an ARF, so it's already covered, so sanding is kind of out. I don't have any of this transparent covering to hide the repair, so without paint matching, the best thing sounds like coloring the epoxy.

I thought the canopy glue idea was pretty good. Maybe Elmers, it drys clear too.

Gap Sealing

Used clear "bathtub" clear caulk on mine. Over 100 flights logged and it's still holding on. This type of material makes good wing to fuselage joints also. Just cover the wing with plastic / apply the caulk to the fuselage and assemble. Leave for 24 hours and it will be a perfect match. Several members at the club started looking at this joint after 4 more showed up after I started flying mine. Great fun! Bill
