A 3D setup question

I'm preparing to setup my first 3D airplane and would like to program my JR 8103 for low rates and high rates for the 3D stuff. Rather then setup dual rates on 3 switches; elevator, rudder, and ailerons, I would like to be able to throw 1 switch and have everything move between the high or low settings. I have no clue as to how to accomplish this or if it's even possible. Does anyone have any experience with this type of setup?
Thanks

I have never used this radio and don't know if its possible, but I think it might not be the best idea. I have found that different combos of high v.s. low rates between the three channels make the aircraft perform differently.

Generally, I prefer to use exponential rather than dual rates. Having the center of the stick motion give relatively small movement of the control surface, makes it easy to fly smoothly, and then you still have full range at full stick. This also means you don't have to be messing with switches durring the flight. (and don't have to remember which switch is where to get the ailerons back to high rate...)

I agree with both. I use a little EXPO on low rate and a lot of EXPO on high rate. Having all your dual rates one one switch would be a mistake. There are a lot of manuvers were I use one or the other on high rate but very few were everything is on high rate. Good luck, later daveo
