Roll and pitch coupling

Hello Mark,

What are your suggestions on mixing out roll and pitch coupling for knife edge purposes? Control on a switch or part of a flight mode ? I"m flying a Funtana 40, Katana 140.

thanks,
Zimm

I fly with the mix on at all times.
Use a P Mix for Rudd-Ail and Rudd-Elev
Start with a linear curve and work your way up to a curve mix. IE when the airplane is slower and you need more diflection, the mix required is greater.
Take it one step at a time and don't rush it.

RE: Roll and pitch coupling

Hey Mark, Your answer to that last question really helped me alot. I always wondered if I was suppose to add more mixing in a high alpha knife edge compared to a normal high speed knife edge which usally requires about 3-4 % mixing. I didn't know if guys were just Flying the sticks more in high alpha .

Next time out I will try and add more mixing for points 1 and 5 on my 9c .
This really does tak time but I find it helps my rolling harriers tremendously.
