Plane for BME 44?

I'm looking for something to put my BME 44 on, it has to be an ARF cause I don't wanna build something right now and I'm at 5000 ft. Any suggestions?

Hmmmm

I'm putting a BME 44 on my H9 Edge...I hear it makes the Edge come alive in many ways.

Unlimited vert. for sure...You need to get longer landing gear, and add weight to the tail, but it still seems to come out fairly light.

A Sig 300XS is also a nice choice for this engine.

bme 44 plane

TAKE A LOOK AT THE NEW WORLD MODELS EXTRA. 80.5 INCH WINGSPAN, PATTY WAGSTAFF COLORS. AIRFOILED TAIL GROUP AND DOUBLE BEVELED SURFACES. GOES FOR ABOUT $425 MOST PLACES. WOULD ALSO BE A GREAT SET-UP FOR THE 3-W 50 OR THE DA-50.

GOOD LUCK............

plase for BME

Had a H9 edge with a BME 50 on it. Had tremendous power..too much for the plane). The plane was otherwise pretty stock. It wanted to stall on tight turns, etc. You can't fly full blast all the time and have fun with this plane or this engine. Also, have a BME 50 in a H9 120 Cap. Doesn't stall like the Edge but after considering weight, etc., I believe it's way too much engine for these planes. Would recommend getting up into the 80 inch sizes.

Plane for BME 44?

helped a friend put a dave patrick extra together with a bme 44 and it is the best flying airframe for your motor. we came in at 15.8 lbs using two rudder servos. the plane went together very easy and flys awsom. it will do any move in the book. if i wasnt already flying 2 35% planes i would put together this combo. if i were buying new i would use the bme 50 but the 45 will do it all

Try the SIG Sukhoi for an ARF or the Midwest Extra for a kit

Go with the Aeroworks Edge 540. The 29%er would be great.
