Well, this plane will do pretty much anything you can throw at it. For a beginner, it is nice because it's easy to take it out of a stall. Just don't turn the rates up very high till you get used to flying it. Just remember, this plane was built to fly, not to crash. If you even land hard, you'll rip the gear out. I finally made a new landing gear plate with 2 1/16" lite ply plates with some carbon fiber inbetween. I also used some carbon fiber and layed in on the inside of the fuse to strengthen where the landing plate mounts. Last time I flew it was at the houston hover fest, and took a very hard landing on an ashpalt runway from a low torque roll and the only damage was I flattened the gear out.

Don't let me scare you though, every 3d plane I've ever owned, except my profiles, I've ripped the gear out. These planes are all built to light, and are not meant to take abuse. If you're just learing, and want a good plane that you can abuse, you may want to look into getting a profile. The profiles fly as good as, if not better, then most of the full figured 3d planes.

Check out omp. www.ohiomodelplanes.com I know they are pretty good about shipping international. They do offer some arfs, but mostly kits. Any of their 40 size planes will fly great on a 46 size engine. The reviews on the Yak are very good, and the edge has always been a favorite. You can't go wrong with any of their planes.
