wanted 3D tips...
I am looking for a book/website that has most all 3D maneuvers available and how to execute them. I have not found any one place that is FULL of information.

I like www.3DRC.info It has some good descriptions and pics and videos. Mike McConville also has some on the Horrizon website.

You can pick up a few pointers in the new 3-D Flyer magazine that just came out.:)

RE: wanted 3D tips...
I have some really good engine tips that I've learned lately:
-Only 3D with a VERY reliable engine. -Make sure you run a little extra rich so that while you are hovering, you don't lean out the engine (and it quits). If you have a fuel regulator this is not so much of an issue. Run a little extra rich regardless. I haven't lost a plane yet from engine failure, but with 3D, the engine has to bullet proof since you rely so much on engine power. later, Joe |

How about [link=http://www.flyingcirkus.com/default.asp?content=3du]3D University[/link]?
You have to sign up (its free) and they have videos that teach you how to do everything with the radio so you can see the stick inputs. They only have snaps, hovers and rolling harriers at the moment but more is coming! |
