Seduction Elevators
Hello,
I have finally started the Seduction freestyle that has been in my garage for over a year now, but a building question has come up. How did the builders of this plane get the elevator joiner through the fuse sides? Did you use the metal joiner that came with the kit? I am thinking of using a wood rod instead. The fuse is finished and covered, but this little problem didn't cross my mind until I went to join the elevators together. Help, Bryan |
RE: Seduction Elevators
You were supposed to put the metal joiner through, then glue and insert the covered horizontal stab. After the glue has dried, put the hinges in and glue the elevators. When you put the last elevator on just make sure the joiner is in the slot. Later on I put some epoxy into the slot to make it stiffer. At the point where you are now I would probably just make a slot and put the joiner through it. A wooden rod might not hold up. Good luck.
