Would like to get into 3d . So like a good starter plane for 3d.

Do you like profile planes?

Extreme flight 540 profile ARF or IF you want to build the OMP 540. Of course I assume you want the best entry level 3-D trainers but if you desire other, then you probably have a preference already. Then it would be a matter of the difficulty level you desire.

This plane is soo sweet and light. It is easier to fly than a trainer and with a YS .63 and standard servos, mine weighs 3.89 lb.

PS.....It looks killer too

The Katana 50 is the perfect home for that engine. Just check out the video footage... Its a 3D dream.

It's a sweet plane, but won't 3D like any profile from omp, ef, morris, or PA

The Katana will 3D with the best of them. Besides, I just don't care for profile planes. I like planes with a full fuselage that can fly precision as well as 3D. I suppose a pizza box will hover pretty good, too. But, personally, I'd rather fly a plane that looks good and flies like a real plane.
