Beginner 3D Plane selection

I've been trying to teach myself 3D flying with a Goldberg Extreme 330.
I've managed some tail touches and nice hovers, but the tail wags a lots and I'm constantly rapidly correcting pitch and yaw, especially yaw. This makes torque rolling pretty hairy as the wheels start to appear and disorientation begins. Just ordered an OMP Katana profile.
Will this plane feel more stable and 'lock in' to a hover better?

Try putting some weight in the tail to mellow out the waging. start in small increments until it feels comfortable. You have to look at it like a pendulum a little weight will make it swing less and as well as slower. I also use 25% expo low rates and 40% on high on rudder to start with and go from there until the plane feels good.
