For 3D keep it about 6" or less. The elevator gets squirrely at 6" so you have to modify your landings, you will just have to see what it does and adjust. With an aft CG the elevator is going to be real touchy on landing approach and it wont take much to make it want to balloon up on approach. You will probably need a lot of up elevator to rudder mix to stop the typical UCD coupling. Also you will have to deal with adverse roll coupling. On right KE with left rudder you will likely need some right aileron mix to keep it from wanting to roll back upright. Bottom line is you will just have to see what YOUR plane does and ease in the mixes to correct. Probably a good idea to have a buddy with a pencil and paper in hand to make notes as you tell him what corrections you are having to make to get the plane to fly like you think it should. You shouldnt NEED any throttle mixes in my opinion, but others may be using them..

Also, you probably should have at least a 3/16"-1/4" gap behind the left side of the motor mount to give you enough right thrust. TO figure out if its right you will fly into the wind pull into a vertical upline with the wings level, and see which way the plane goes. I can almost guarantee you it will go left. Start adding right thrust until it climbs straight up with little or ideally no rudder correction. Then when you enter into hover you wont constantly be having to add right rudder to keep the plane upright. The 60 size UCD is notorious for needing a ton of right thrust.
