Plane for OS 1.40-RX?!
Hi guys!
I've got an OS 1.40-RX lying around, and need a plane to put it in... it's got a huge tuned-pipe, but i'm willing to go with at new in-cowl muffler, if it exists for the rear muffler exit. It used to be in a Carl Goldber Ultimate .90... but there the pipe was built in from the begining, and now I'd like an ARF, maby one that can fit the pipe.:) I have been drooling over the Funtana 90 and the 1.40... but can't find the 1.40 as an ARF!! Any sugestions?? Erik... |

Hi "R/C Addict"
Here you can find the ARF Funtana 140 from Sebart: http://www.sebart.it/!-html/sebart_models.htm http://www.modellbau-deutsch.de/d/we..._140/start.php |
RE: Plane for OS 1.40-RX?!
Nice combo!
Another good choice is Quique Somenzini Yak-54. http://www.sebart.it/!-html/quiques.htm |
RE: Plane for OS 1.40-RX?!
Thanks guys!!:)
Is SebArt based in europe? 'Cause right now, i'm in Minnesota for a year... so i'd like to buy somthing here. (but can wait, if no better alternative..) I love the Yak as well... but don't you need like super strong (AKA EXPENSIVE!!) servos for it?? Iv'e got soem that are strong enough for the funtana, but heard that the Yak needs even better ones... ? Would the Funtana .90 be too little for the 1.40 engine? (just thinking, since it's soo cheep) Erik... |

For a retailer read this thread (and watch also the awesome video):

RE: Plane for OS 1.40-RX?!
Yeah.. that's a nice plane as well, but i think that the 1.40 might be a bit small for it, and i'd like it to do all out 3d.
But thanks anyway!! Erik... |

I currently own both the GSP KATANA, and the FUNTANA 140S offered by HACKER BRUSHLESS/AERO-MODEL
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10..._1/key_/tm.htm http://www.aero-model.com/ProductDet...?productID=428 The one offered by HACKER is about the same weight, but 78 inch wing rather then a 72 inch wing. $600.00 vs $200.00. But is much better built. Actually my GSP Katana was 11.75 with OS 160 and perry pump and Bison Exhaust. The FUNTANA 140S is powered by an electric system... HACKER C50 14 XL and HM 90 ACRO esc and 10S4P LiPo batteries. It weighs exactly 12 pounds. I would use 10S3P if I were to do it again, and that would drop almost 1 pound off the weight. If money is not a concern, the FUNTANA 140S is a better plane and more 3D'able. I mozey around the sky with the FUNTANA 140S at about 35% power, I can do a wall fast, or slow... it flies like a 40% scale plane, very smooth and with high damping in all 3 axii. I liked it so much.. I am buying another one! http://www.aero-model.com/ProductDet...?productID=428 |
