Hoovering Too High

I've been flying my UCF3D 60 for a year now, I changed from a Saito 1.00 to a YS1.20 and it performs a lot better, I'm at 3,500 ft elevation. My question is, I can hoover the plane for maybe a couple minutes now, but I'm always climbing, I can't get it to hoover anywhere close to the ground. I come in for a landing type approach, pull it up, add the power, and then try to keep the plane vertical, but it's always climbing more and more, finally its up there in the clouds. Is there a trick I'm missing?

sounds like you need better throttle management of the 1.20 is just way to much for it.

just back off a little bit, bring it a little lower each time.
Punch it when your in trouble, thats a given, you will go up....................ys 120 sheeesh

Two words. Throttle curve. (Throttle exponential)

Look in your transmitter manual on how to do it.
