Engine for Madness

Hi, I've just bought a madness and I'm not sure which engine to put in it. I want to put one of my current engines in there. The options are :

OS70FS
OS46FX (With Genesis pipe)
OS90FS

Has anyone got any suggestions as to which is the best to use and why?

Cheers:eek:

Orignial Madness made by ZN Line, great bird.

Designed for the YS45 or a YS 63.

Flew mine on a YS45. It hovered it and had power to pull out, however it was lacking in power. I put a OS 50 on it later in life and it performed better.

Go with the 70 and a 13-4W APC and see how it does. Not sure you would be happy with the 46 even with the pipe.

If you are unhappy with the knife edge and/or the roll rate, remove the wing tips.

I'd suggest going with the OS70

I have a Madness 2 with a YS 63 and it has awsome power, The 46 wouldn't be enough power. I rekon the 90 would probably be too heavy...

Good luck

Is it the Original Madness or Madness 2?

a friend of mine has Saito 72 in it and it seems plenty of power. This plane is very light and doesn't need any more than that.
