evolution engines
 

ive just purchased a evolution 100nx for my funtana 90,i usually go for ys but saw the advert for these and recommend them for the funtana so i thought i would give it a go,has anyone used or has any advice on reliability etc on these engines.

The Evoulution 100 is an awesome engine! I overpowered my Twist 40 with it and it screams with
a 14x6 which I will tach and send results. I am a 2 stroke fanatic and love the simplicity of this
engine, ck out the low speed idle adjustment, it doesn't get any easier. I know my plane is smaller
than yours but the 100 should still be more than adequate for Funtana 90

My local hobby shop sells the Evo 100 for 169.00, great buy considering quality of engine and the fact that a .60 or even .90 will run about the same $ An awesome and somewhat versatile engine.

cheers tripp3d seems i made a good decision:Di see what you mean about the low speed adjustment so much easier,i got mine luke for £125 such a good price for this type off engine. what fuel are you running it on tripp?

I'm running 10% nitro 18% oil byron fuel. Not sure if this is ideal, probably would perform a little better on 15% nitro. Ran her this morning before work at the golf course, not many golfers outside when its 20 degrees!
