Another Harrier3D Servo ?
I have Hitec 475's planned for the ailerons and elevators for H-3D. I have 5625 for the rudder. Will the 475's be enough on 6 volt?

RE: Another Harrier3D Servo ?
I had one on the rudder of a Funtana 40 and it worked very well, centered well, held strong etc. I plan on using them or the 5475's in my Funtana 90.
So yes, go for it. |
RE: Another Harrier3D Servo ?
Thanks George! I spent a lot of money the day I got my Harrier. I bought a new Fut. 9CAP, a Saito 100, props, servos and a bunch of other small necessities and I was struggling with buying all 5625's. I thought the 475's would be good and they are half the price so that's what I got. I'm sure you know the feeling when you are standing there with a list at the hobby shop and your wife is there with you and you are trying to distract her while they total everything up. $40 per servo matters at that point. (Canadian dollars)

RE: Another Harrier3D Servo ?
I used the 475s more for weight reduction. speed is good at 6 volts as well. They only weigh 1.4 oz each. With 3D airplanes I have found the key to be keeping the finished product lite. A friend of mine flys his Funtana 90 with the 475s and loves it.

Thanks Jayre, I just needed to know I made the right decision and now I have some confidence in it.
