|
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
I would love to have one !! Anyone have an idea when it will be here in the USA?
|
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd bet Horizon will get them soon.. maybe.. not on the site yet, though...
|
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
I will post pics on Monday :D
|
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Heh heh..I have the 90 size, and NOW I want this one too. When the blue one expires, I will replace it with this one, and I might even hang the Saito 100 I have on the 90 size on it. I bet that would be a perfect combo. After flying the 90 size with the 100 on it for a while now, I think it needs more power.
Yep...sounds like a plan. Also noticed that the rudder is a bit taller. Should help with orientation some. The gear looks like it is swept back more, and I think the elevators are counter balanced. Jim C |
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Be glad when I can find somewhere to order it!!![:@] I have the .90 size one and love it I need the little brother to go with it!!!!! :D

RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
:)I called Horizon right after I saw this. The lady I talked to said she'd never heard of it. She said it's often the case when it comes out in Europe first. She said it would probably show up here in about 6=10 months. OUCH! Pretty cool looking plane. I'm eyeballing this one and the small 40 size Mayhem which is due out in a month or so. Seems like I'm always waiting on my next favorite plane. Oh well.
Thanks, Barry |
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Makes a change for us to get something first here in the uk lol...................
I picked mine up today ill post the pics later :D, maybe u can get it shipped internationally ?? |
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Prolly...but I think I'll wait. I'm having too much fun with the big one now. My other babies have been neglected ever since this one showed up.
DragonHeart, are the elevators counter balanced? Just curious...but they appeared to be. Jim C |
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
if it come4s to the states I am claiming the first one lol
|
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
I got the big one with a YS1.20 in it and love it. I would love to put the YS63 I got sitting on the shelf in this one. Does anyone know if the .46 size Harrier has a two piece wing also. how sweet that would be.
Check this link out: http://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk...pirit-4734.htm The same store selling the .46 Harrier is also selling the Thunder Tiger 3D Spirit. It appears to be the exact same plane with a different covering scheme! What is going on here. |
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Splais. How does your H3D 90 fly with the YS 120? I have a YS 110 on order and it's my intention to put it on the H3D. I have a Saito 100 on it now but you how I need more power thing goes. I thought I might then put the Saito 100 on a Funtana 40 or maybe the H3D 40 if it comes to North America soon.

RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
The Harrier was born to be flown with the 120/110 YS combo. Simply awesome to fly.

And here is a post I got from the hobby shop in england on shipping to US and my question about the Thunder Tiger clone. Total cost to US - $246.00.
Dear Mr Plaisance, they do appear to be very similar models. Seagull models are made in Vietnam and Thunder Tiger are made in China, so they are coming out of different areas. Cost of Harrier 46 less UK tax is £76.59 and air post an additional £55.00 Sterling Tell me this isn't the same plane. But I would not buy it without seeing it first. The Seagull has awesome quality. |
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi,
No the Spirit is a different plane......... its been out a while here in england......... and its had a few magazine reviews plus its more expensive than the Segull Harrier ;) I wouldnt even consider the Spirit after seeing the Harrier :D |
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Fuz structure on the thunder tiger model is different.
|
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
yep, now that you mention it, you are correct. Should have looked closer, but Seagull should be smiling. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. But would be nice to know who copied who :D.
PS: Since you guys mentioned it earlier - I have noticed from brousing English hobby shops that you guys seem to get a lot of really sharp models over there, that we never see in the good ol' us of a. |
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
:D I would have said it was the opposite about the models we can get over here lol
Anyhow some good online stores worth checking out in order of price and service r as follows.. [link=http://www.inwoodmodels.co.uk]www.inwoodmodels.co.uk[/link] [link=http://www.alshobbies.co.uk]www.alshobbies.co.uk[/link] PS : I'm thinking of putting a OS 70 Four Stroke in the Harrier, do u guys think this would be a good choice ???, also thiers no tail bracing like its big brother, but i think i will add a brace just for extra security :) |
RE: Harrier 3D 46 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe all these companies should ship everything, everywhere - then we can all be happy all the time :).
