Most popular engine for u-cando 3d 60
 

After reading through the posts on the u-cando 3d 60 it seems like the Satio 100 might have some problems after a year or so any comments? What about YS-110 any problems?

The YS 110 is the best bet for this plane if you have the money. It has ridiculous power, its very light for the power it puts out and its the best running engine money can buy in its class. Plus it has an internal built in pressure regulator so you can put the tank back on the CG if you like. I have has OS 91's Saitos 1.20s and YS 110 and 140 engines and the YS engines are light years ahead of the others, period. They are the easiest to tune and start and the most reliable engines if you take care of them which is nothing but an occasional valve adjustment which is simple. And if you do have a problem YS service via central hobbies is 2nd to none and parts though not cheap are easy to come by.

Do you want the most powerful and highest quality, or the most "common"? All the engines mentioned will fly this airplane just fine- the YS-1.10 is the best quality and strongest of the engines mentioned....

Heck the OS-91FX has plenty of power for "most" people (if you can find a good one-) I would probably opt. for the Saito-100 since the YS is soo expensive---

I cannot imagine having problems with the Saito, they are generally considered mild-mannered engines that are easy to tune/run/adjust--

the YS is $50 more. but you get a pump and tons more power.. a cline pump for the 100 would be $60.. The YS is an exelent value.

the saito 100 is a great engine for the ucd 60. (i sure would like a ys110 next!!!)
