Anyone try doing this before?

Hi All,

Just wondering if a turboprop (like from Jetcat USA) would work for 3D in a plane like a Carden Cuda, or if anybody has tried it before.

Not sure how the throttle response would be, but the power would be insane. Over 55 lbs of thrust with a 27 inch prop.(4.9 lb. engine) Might be something to try if someone has money.:eek:

You guys think it would work? Would be something very different.:D

Awesome, any links? Also, how do you guys think that it would 3D with a little extra weight? (not really sure on the exact weight.

I think the power/weight wont be too much of an issue. But the gearbox spitting off the front under gyroscpoic loads may present a little problem
