Hey sukhoikid...

What engine do you have in your magic?
I got a rossi 45 in mine. Its to much power for it and too heavy.
I'm gonna sell it and get something lighter.
Sucks cuz I bought the motor for the magic and flew it like half a dozen times so its still new.
Oh well.
I've moved my rudder servo to the tail added lead to the tail, and it still needs more tailweight. Where is yours balanced if you know?

Pics look good.....

Well I have had two magics. One which I fly during the day has a Thunder Tiger 46 in it. The other one which I covered one half the wing clear green and the other half clear red has lights in it. I fly it at night and it has a OS 46fx. I believe the Thundertiger 46 is the best engine for the plane. The only thing I can tell you about my balance is I have the battery right behind the fuel tank and everything else is the same. I added some tail weight to make it a little tail heavy. If you go to www.flyinggriffins.org and then click Videos there is a video there of my magic.

Hey sukhoi kid... Couldn't find the magic video. What do you got in the sukhoi though? Looks like it has plenty of power... I got a h-9 extra that I'm put a zdz 80 in. Haven't flown it yet though.

I had the same experience in a collision with at 1/3 scale Aeroworks just a few weeks ago. Mine went from gorgeous brand new plane to pile of sticks in about .5 seconds. Oh well, just another 500 dollars down the drain. The guy with the Aeroworks is probably refinancing his house about now to get back in the air.

Coveredup,
Was that at Rowlett yesterday?
The first pic was a few weeks ago, at Rowlett. Very windy.

The midair was at N Dallas field. Took off straight into a hover at about 25 feet, blap! Mine fell straight down, his crashed over the runway. "stuff" happens.;)

Heres a few of George Hicks and I doing this usual cutting up wiht our Funtana 90's. The once of my and some rudder smashing is my Evo 1.00 loosing throttle response as it leans out. Thats a thing of the past, Both planes now have YS1.20 in them.

So tragic. The scratch built F-4 twin turbine did not fare so well. As he came across the runway at over 130 mph, I popped into a hover.........bang, got hit square on!! I managed to hover my crippled profile back and caught it in midair. It lost its pulse shorlty thereafter, and fell to pieces. It put up a good fight.

yep, thats what happened....[X(]:eek::):D;)[8D][:-]

Coveredup decides to hover in the traffic pattern, and Rino goes into a hover immediately after takeoff. Both acts of recklessness take out expensive airplanes. This is what gives 3-d a bad name. These guys need to wear warning stickers across their foreheads. My son flys 3-d all the time and is very proficient but if he ever pulled a stunt like these two it would be his last.
