airfoil question

hello. i have giles202, which I built from plans, don't remember which. and when I fly on it on high rates I mention strange thing. at the end of loop or turn on max control furfaces it drops one wing down. I have pic of airfoil here, maby it's unnormal, or maby my cg is out of zone, or 35 degree control movement is too big for giles202? plz need your advice. it weights 3.4kg dry weight and powered with magnum 91rfs

RE: airfoil question

Another wing stalls more. If it is always the same wing there is something wrong.

Covering might be loose on the rib-cab and it bubbles?

Aileron cab is different? They should be sealed.

Model is not laterally balanced? (cylinder pointing to the right?)

Wing is warped. etc...

If it happens sometimes to the other side then you just pull too magy G's and/or the wing loading is high.

Airfoil seems typical for a model. Full size might have different.

ok u got it. it is cowered with ultralight cowerite. it't loose
and what is sealing? how to do it?

RE: airfoil question

If the covering is loose it most likely causes your problem. Tighten it evenly and iron it one more time to the wing ribs.

Sealing on control surfaces makes controls more precise and therefore that is recommended for aerobatic models. If the distance between aileron and wing is same on both sides it is not necessary for you to seal the cap. And it propably does not cause your problem.

Sometimes it can be done ironing strips of covering to the V-croove at the pivot line. But the aileron should still move easily afterwards.

RE: airfoil question

u mean glueing the hinges, they are glued on both side. I think that u bet it. my cowering can't be tightend moore. it's weak cowering
