Great Planes Tiporare ??

Does anyone remember the Great Planes kit of Dick Hanson's 1980 Tiporare design?? I'm interested to know exactly what size that GP version happened to be. The version as presented in the February 1980 issue of model builder had a 686 square inch wing 65 inches in span, with a 55 inch fuselage. I know later versions were bigger; 750 square inch, and 825 square inch versions. I was just wondering where the Great Planes kit fell in the Tiporare lineage??

By the way,... anybody have one of those Great Planes kits that they would be willing to part with??

Thanks for the info!!
Sincerely,

Tipoare

After I read your post I was left scratching my head. I built the original Tipo that was if I'm not mistaken a W K Hobbies kit. I just assumed that the Great Planes kit was pretty much the same kit. I checked on the box and plans ( Great Planes) and it shows 720 sq in of wing area and a 65 in wingspan. I had heard of the
Tipo 750, but was unsure if it ever been kitted. Good timing with your post. I had just pulled it out to start building.
