3D mixes

I have never been using mixes on my planes so far but I would like to start. What are they for? When do we use them? Could you give me any examples of mixes you are using? Do they help a lot? I really don't know much about it.

RE: 3D mixes

stiopa,

There are a lot different kinds of mixing, that can help fine tune a plane. I have a Funtana that I mix 13% up elevator with rudder to get rock solid knife edge. I also use spoilerons programmed on a switch (both ailerons move same direction with elevator). I have 100% spoileron throw and it works great for Walls, Parachutes, Elevators, and Various types of spins.

I'll stop there and let some others offer more information.

Are you using your elevator with rudder mix all the time or you have it on a switch?
Any other guys?

RE: 3D mixes

well, i use mix in rudder to elevator too.. its usually on 1 switch, but i leave that switch on all the time...

on my funtana i use 10% mix in both directions, but if it needed on the rudder-aileron, i would use it too, but it doesnt need it...

this mixes help u a lot in some maneuvers, but it doesnt make u fly like a pro...
