Smallest Glow 3D?
I am looking for a small 3D plane to fly in my back yard. The catch though is that I want glow, not electric. I just do not want to have to invest in the brushless motor, LiPo batteries and a compatible charger. I went to buy a well equiped foamy and was at about $420. I know I can get into a small glow plane for under $300.
I do not care if it is a profile or full fuse as long as it is 3D capable. So far, I have found the mini Funtana, a Sig Extra and an EF plane (not currently available though). Any input on those planes or suggestions for others? |

Well I have seen some neat stuff on the mini Funtana but its not exacly "back yard" flight. Depending on how big your back yard is lol. Does anyone with a glow mini funtana have anything to add ?

Thanks everyone. Depfife - love the name and picture. I am not much of a builder but have heard the Tacos are really easy to build. Is that accurate with this model? Also, how much area do you need for this size plane? I have a good size back yard, but not baseball field size.

RE: Smallest Glow 3D?
All of Paul's kits are easy builds. As for the size yard - I would want a baseball field or more. [sm=spinnyeyes.gif] On the other hand there are some guys that could fly the Taco around in my basement. :D
