Today I found out I am getting the 42% Extra 260. I sure can not wait to get the plane and start building. Plan on putting the DA150 with the cans. Not sure of the following. Prop, servos, how many servos, smoke pump, and batteries. I know I am using lion batteries. But I am totally new using a lion battery in a plane. So if any have any good ideas for the plane please let me know!

The airplane is coming from Dalton Aviation. I am paying for half of the airplane kit and my parents are paying for the other half for my birthday. So basically I am buying half of my birthday present.

the troy built is a really light plane .I did the original Li.Ion years ago when godfry was starting what is now duralite. Today LI.Po's are the battry of choice for good reason.Although I fly with NiCd's 4/1400ma 4.8 packs,2 rcvrs, 1matchbox (rudder). Ijust don't like having to put voltage regulaters on. Also you seem to get more cycles from NiCad's, and you dont have to worry about charger failures burning up your plane.On the other side you will lose 1lb using LiPo's.There is a battery co. I think the name is feather lite that sells packages .So many battries, regulators everything you need in one flight pack. One thing you should think about is making the smoke sys removeable the plane is so light it will do things others won't. Kind of like a foamy.And just incase,some times you feel like a nut some times you don't.Really its agreat plane youll love it. Great choice, you will love it

I got to think about that. I knew someone would say something about that. lol. I am going to keep the name Sukhoikid for now. Maybe 260kid. or kid260. LOL.
