Subtle Prop Differences
 

I have a penchant for wood propellers, not sure why.

I have a Super Tigre .90 and I've been spinning a JZinger 14x6 on. I also have some Top Flite propellers of the same configuration. But the airfoils that these two manufacturer's propellers are clearly different, if you look at them side by side.

Anyone know of any hard data about these two airfoils being used on these propellers, and what the bottom line would be for my Sig Mayhem?
Just curious if I should be choosing one over the other for any particular performance aspect.

This doesnt necessarily answer your question.. But I've had both those brands "flatten out" when doing 3D maneuvers and at High RPMs.. I'd go with a Menz Prop if you can get one that size

No One here knows what the difference is between these to propeller airfoils ?

The theoretical answer to your question will be intresting, but it will not answer the real world question you have with any certainty.

The zinger pro and MA Scimitar wood propellers are very good for the ST90. They spin up quick because they are light and the have efficient airfoils(they put out more work or thrust per H.P used) 14 x6, 15 x4, 15x5, 15 x6-- Depends on specific ST.91motor, prop, engine, fuel, atmospheric conditions, flying style.
