There is an advantage to put the receiver in the tail: it won't get damage. That's where the black box is stored in an airplane.

My mistake about the throttle servo. Actually, you should put the throttle servo just next to the engine, for slop-free linkage. So you will need a loooooooooooooong extension from the throttle servo to the receiver...

I have tried a 15x8 Graupner, 15x6 APC, and the 16x4W APC. I didn't notice any difference in throttle response between the three, but then I wasn't paying that much attention to it. If it was markedly different with the 16x4 I think I would have realized it.

You don't need any exotic fuel/oil mixture. I know of two others locally, running on straight Cool Power 15%. Mine thrives on CP 15% too, but I add an ounce of SIG castor per gallon for bearing protection. The muffler has some brown stains, but that's a small price to pay as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, the higher nitro/low viscosity oil will probably make the 91 FZ run a bit stronger. But mine is plenty strong as is, and I'm not into carrying several differnt kinds of fuel around. I run that CP 15%/1 oz. castor blend in everything from an OS .15FP to a Saito 150.

Order a couple of those neat little Jayco fuel filters from Central Hobbies. They're made to order for the YS plumbing arrangement.
