OK, Why?

Been reading the post about planes that are easy to hover (Cougar, Hype 3D, U Can Do 3D..........). From a design standpoint what makes a plane easy (or difficult) to hang?

Appreciate any input.

my .02 worth ,light weight to hp,large control surfaces,long tail movement.
