Newbie 3d questions...

Mostly my question revolve around radio set up.

How are most of the radio's set up. I.E. Mixing? EXPO? etc. Lets assume a 27% or larger. Servo or two on each wing and elevator half. I am not looking for exact setups, rather a generalization on common setups. How much mixing is used for axial rolls etc. Torque Rolls. Harriers. My assumption is there is alot of mixing and expo or some of the flyers i have seen are very fast on the sticks.

Thanks

High rates and some expo. That's it. You can't use a radio to fly your plane. You hear people at the field saying "they use gyros and computer radios to allow the plane to do that". Some guys use spoilerons for harriers but most good 3D planes don't need that either. The key is practice, not programming.

100% agree

I use a little spoileron, but not much and a bit of mixing for roll and pitch coupling in a knife edge... the rest is just practice

fly 4 or 5 times a week and lots of time on the sim

The same rule applies. 100 Gallons of fuel and lots of practice.
