Funtanas inverted engine????
 

Hey guys Im going to put a YS 140 on my funtanas 90 but I want to mount it inverted, can someone show me photos of that set up?

I did a inverted Saito 91 on the 40 size but I don't have any pics. I used the Wild Hare method. I just found out how far the prop flange needed to be and mounted the engine to the mount using that distance. Then, I mounted the cowling onto the airplane. I took off the cowling and set the engine on top of the firewall. Here I marked the approximate positions of where the head would come through. I cut this area out. Then with the engine on the firewall, I trial fitted the cowling opening it up where I had problems. Once the hole was big enough, I put the spinner and prop on the engine and centered it relative to the cowl. Mark the position of the holes, drill, and mount your engine.

I think its been covered but here is the 140L inverted with stock mount, left side leg of mount has to be ground some to clear control horn. cowl is butchered due to 2 other motors put on but didnt like power. first was a OS 91 4 stroke[:'(][:'(] and then a OS 120 4 stroke[:'(] then current combo:D
