Vios 3D anyone??
 

Anyone flown one of these? They claim 4D on the website. I am replacing my US 40.

This plane is your Black Horse stick. It has full length ailerons that you can cut to make a crow set up. It is really light for sure ... the plane is very easy to build and there are not building issues at all. I got no idea what they mean about 4D but this is not a pure 3D plane. I flew mine with a SA72 and it was more than enough power. Back then I was not really into 3D yet so I cannot say how good it will be for 3D.

Yea dude 4D is inverted hovering/variable pitch props.

Get it dude, if the price is right. If the US 40 is on good condition I'd hold on to it.

I'll keep the US40 but will retire it. I'll put all my servos and engine in the Vios if I buy it. (OS 61 with macs pipe) might be a little heavy in the nose. I had to put alot of weight in the tail to balance it.

I knew this new 4D term would get thrown around by the manufactures and used to sell. The aircraft is not 4D!!! In fact that term might need to be looked at in its self.

Did you ever get the Vios 3D? I'm curious about yours (or anyone else's) opinion of it. I have a Axi 4120/14 and a 4S2P pack (4200 mAh) for it

How did you power it? Electric or Glow?

What were your overall opinions of it?

I was looking at the VIOS 3D for a nice little fun fly plane. I have a Saito 82 that should work nicely. Anyone have any comments on this plane? It says that is comes with all the control surfaces pre-glued and pinned. I can't tell on the web site if it's a flat bottom wing or what so can someone that has one chime in to let me know? It can't be to bad for the price, it's like all the other stick planes. Should fly nice.
