I just got add ons 4 running yesterday and it is sweet I got a couple of pics to post. The extra and edge are now like flying big planes. The harrier is sweet!!!!!

Is the first picture and Extra?
THe two color schemes look the same but the planes look different?

It is suppose to be an Extra 330. But I see in one ad that they show this color scheme listed as an Edge. We were asked to send photos of my nephew's 40% Carden Aircraft Extra 330 using this scheme to be used in this add on update. I think it is neat.

Hi Guys,
Glade to hear about the EDGE & HARRIER plane scemes, but how does the P 40 and Stuka look?

My Copy of Vol. 4 is still in the packageing department at Tower Hobbies. Hopefully I will receive it my the end of the week.

My Copy of Vol.4 arrived today,I even chewed the UPS driver out for not being on time LOL (I know the guy pretty well)so I think he does it to be ornrie.I like the P-40,the Stuka,the Edge,the 330S. I wonder what Vol.5 will have.Hay! lets start a post or pole on RCU for Vol. 5

The Edge is sweet along with the extra. I think that the edge is more for 3d and the 330 is a more smooth flying plane. The edge Harrier rolls and knife edges just like my Carden edge. The war birds look great. I am into 3d but had fun flying them. The 330 and 540 come in either a blue and white fighter scheme or the red fighter scheme. I cant wait till aero3d does custom schemes because it would be sweet to have one done like mine.

addons 4 rules. by the way mike badger from aero3d has made some schemes for the edge including kirby chamblisses edge540A.

Have you downloaded the CAP 2X from the realflight downloads page yet? How's it compare with your 40? The Edge in 4?

The cap 2x on g2 is a great flying plane it hovering almost like my edge but that is about the only thing that is close to it. I have been flying the edge on RF for a couple of days and have a good essesment of what it is like. This plane is the closest to the real thing. The only difference is taht my 540 does not snap out with 50 degrees of throw and the edge on G2 feels like it is short coupled. That is about it. Aero3d said my scheme will be done soon so i cant wait.

Aero3d is supposed to be making a scheme of my AW 29% Edge for add-on 4. Well, my Edge that I just sold.

I did see the new web site looks good. What plane your you going to get. I would recommend the Carden 330s after flying Frank Noll jr. Man that plane is so sweet it acutally 3ds better then my edge and flys patterns just as good if not better then my pattern planes

I would get the Cap I have found the perfect set up on one of these. A buddy of mine had one with a zdz 80 and that was the perfect combo I have also flown one with a da and it wasnt as good

I have been following this post , and was wondering why you feel that the ZDZ 80 combo is better than the DA combo on the CAP?

The reason that I feel that the zdz combo is better is not because of power issue it is just that is makes the plane fly better not having as much weight. This is the first plane that when something happens put the 3d elevator in and it will harrier with out a wing rock at all. I flew saddlers and loved it and flew extralongs with a da while its still a sweet plane in my openion it flew a little heavier

Did you get the Extra fixed. I am about to order mine from Dennis. I know I am gonna love it. Fly Matts Edge more and you will be 3ding better then Matt.

Me too...my Carden 35% edge showed up at my house today!! :D :D Can you tell I'm happy. I am so impressed with this kit! It's WAY better than my AW kit. Perfect wood, and even comes with a picture pack and a video.
