Found this bird while surfing at Singapore Hobby !

Does anybody know the Razzle 3D ARF or has somebody build it and flown it ?
The weight at 5.9 lbs looks pretty nice for a .60 size 3D plane

Here is a link to it :

If somebody has one or is building one, please share your experience with us.
Thanks

Horizon hobby is going to be carrying the Razzle for $154.99. It's listed on there web site with no pictures or description and of course it's out of stock. I forget the name of the manufacturer but it's made in Vietnam. They also make a Edge 540 that looks cool. I saw these in a Horizon flyer sent to the local hobby shop.

It's made in Vietnam by "Seagul" models. Don't have one however, one of the guys at my club has been flying the pants off his for about 6 months. Does all the 3D stuff with an OS 61 FX and an APC 12.25 X 3.75 prop. build quality is exceptional on this plane!!!

Price

well, just got an email back from Singapore Hobby and the price is : $185 USD. Could not resist, and had to order me one. :D
I have been playing with idea of trying out the new Magnum 91 XLS 2 stroke. maybe this is a good chance.

Cattle Prod, I can't believe he is flying his 61FX with a 12.25x3.75 prop  That's what I am swinging with my OS 46fx on my profiles.

Either my taste in aiplane covering schemes is out of date or that plane is one ugly bird . Alot of ugly ARF's are put there now. This one, the UCANDO3D, the Pizzaz and the H9 .60 size ultra stick to name a few.

They better fly fantastic, 'cause they sure are ugly.

I agree with Cheech, they could at least try to make the UCD or Pizzaz look someway nice.

Well, I am glad that we all don't have the same taste. Would be boring. We all would have the same looking planes !
I can only tell if it is ugly when I open the box or have assembled it. It's hard to tell from that picture.
We'll see.

3d,the wing has a realy thick wing, built very well,it comes with a pilot and int panel and the canopy is all ready in place, all the control surfaces are attached, nylon hinges and they are pined, the fire wall has 3/4 stock on the sides, the fire wall is aprox 1/4"or better,as far as the look i think its ok,as good as a hanger 9 60 stick,no it dose not have the elegent,s of a pattern ship ,but its not,its a 3d,bang around and i think its ok,and again thats just my opinion,i think for the money, its as good as any.if this frezzzzzing weather would go away i would fly it and let you know whut its like ,cheak you all later,ah,arniebarn.......................

To all those who have built this or seen the Razzle, could you tell me if the covering is one of the heat shrink types or the crappy stick on types used on VMAR ARFs

FYI,

Just received the Razzle, PC -9, Edge 540 and Arising Star from Seagull today. They passed QA and should begin shipping back orders next week. Check with your LHS.

Thanks,
John

my mistake

Texas 3D.
Indeed the prop used on the 61 FX is an "APC 14 X 4", not the 12.25 X 3.75.

Krazyflyer.
Covering is not the stick on type. Another great alternative to the Razzle is the Pheonix models "Fun Star". It's a 46 size, in the same vein as the Razzle only better.

darn, opened my razzle to start building, and discovered that the fuse was smashed from shipping. Since I have had this plane for over 2 weeks it will be to late to claim it to the post office. Now I need a new fuse ! Any source in the US you guys know about ?

I think that Hangar-9 sells the fuselage separately.
