Either that or a ZDZ 40 or Brison 3.2. Possibly a MVVS 45 as well.

Never had a CG problem with either the ZDZ 40 or DA 50, just moved gear , battery around as needed. Plane does not care, flys very well with the ZDZ or DA. Its one of those that fly like they guys on the vidos, just with you at the controls. Be sure to ballance in all directions and get both halves of the elevator and ailerons working togeather. Had problems with my elevators until I made a template of the left side and transferred the horn on the right side to be exactly the same. Match boxes dont seem to work for me in this regard. ENJOY

I am in the midst of fitting a brison 2.4 to the firewall of my CAP-X. I have heard It has great power and the brison is nice and light. Swinging a 20x8 @ 7200 should be good vert! Brison says 21lbs of thrust. On a 12-13lb plane that should be great.

I have a OS160fx on mine and am about to sawp out for a YS 140. IMO gasser are a bit too heavy for it but I would like to hear weights from you guys using a small gasser.

found it. 13lbs 3oz . Not bad for a plane with 1050 sq. in". That works out to around 28.9 for the loading.

DiabloKid, did you ever get the YS140 put in your CapX?
What is the weight with the 140?
How does it balance with th140?
Would love a flight report, I just picked up a 140FZ and I'm trying to find a plane to put it in.

I put a Moki 1.80 in mine and it's a great combination. One flip starts everytime, runs on FAI fuel which is nice and cheap, and has plenty of power. The balance also came out perfectly with this engine. I love this airplane.
