just looking for advice TT120 in a goldberg sukhoi is it enough power for unlimited aerobatics /3D etc I,m looking for something with good power but keeping the price reasonable its just a practice plane. thanks Dave

I would think so. I've got a friend with a CG sukhoi using an old YS 1.20 and it flies great. A TT1.20 has way more power.

Are you sure about the Thunder Tiger having more power than the YS? That's very surprising to hear.

Yeah, two stroke vs 4 stroke. Those old YS's were not near as strong as the newer ones. PLus a 2 stroke is always stronger than a an equivelent displacement 4 stroke. (I've had two TT120's and a couple of YS and am currently running OS1.40's)

My mistake... I assumed the tt120 was a 4stroke. Makes sense now.

Some of the YS 4-Stokes are the same power wise than 2-strokes, like the 140DZ.
